Sit the interview before the real one

Mock MMI and panel interviews in your university’s format.

A mock MMI is a full practice interview in your university’s real format and timing, with questions you have not seen before. A current medical student marks it strictly. You get a written report and an action plan. We run live, recorded and panel mocks for medical schools in Australia and the UK.

How a mock works

one take, real timing, honest marks.

Before

Your format

We build the circuit to your university: stations, reading time, answer time, live or recorded.

During

No pause button

Everything advances on its own. You answer out loud, on camera, to questions you have never seen.

After

Marked strictly

Every station marked against what the university says it assesses, with the exact words that earned or lost marks.

Then

Your action plan

A ranked list of what to fix first, and a 30-minute debrief with your coach to go through it.

A real report, blurred

what you get back.

This is the layout, length and marking structure of a full mock MMI report. The written detail is blurred because every report is written from that student’s own recorded answers.

Mock interview questions.

Is the mock really in my university’s format?

Yes. Same number of stations, same reading and answer times, same delivery (live, recorded or panel) wherever the university publishes it. Where it does not, we use the closest sensible format and tell you so.

What is in the report?

A score and standard for every station, an eight-domain skills map, what capped each answer, what would have lifted it, and a ranked action plan. Eighteen pages for a full mock. You can see a blurred sample on this page.

Mock or coaching: which do I need?

A mock tells you where you stand. It is best if you have already practiced a lot and want a realistic test with a detailed report. Coaching builds the skills. Most students do a few sessions, then a mock about ten days before the real day.

How many mock MMIs should I do?

Most students do one to three. One full mock shows where you stand. A second, after you have worked on the report, shows whether the fixes have held. Doing more mocks without acting on the report helps less than you might think. Interview Ready and Future Doctor+ include three mocks.

When should I book a mock?

About ten days before your interview suits most students: close enough to feel real, with time to act on the report. If you have a few weeks, do one early to find your gaps and another closer to the day. If your invitation came at short notice, book as soon as you can and tell us your interview date.

Who marks it?

A coach who is a current medical student and sat this interview format. Marking is deliberately strict, so the real day feels easier than the mock.

Are the questions real?

No. Every mock question is written by m.i ready. We never use real, confidential or so-called leaked interview questions, and we never reuse a question that has been published on this site.

How much is a mock?

Three university-tailored mocks, each with a written report and a private debrief, are included in Interview Ready ($2999 early-bird price, then $3499£1499 early-bird price, then £1749) and Future Doctor+ ($5999 early-bird price, then $6999£2999 early-bird price, then £3499). Essentials ($799 early-bird price, then $999£399 early-bird price, then £499) does not include mocks. If your interview is very soon, the last-minute crash course is $599 early-bird price, then $699£299 early-bird price, then £349. See the packages, or ask on the free 15-minute call and we will help you choose. Early-bird prices apply until 11:59 pm GMT on 10 Nov or until the first 10 students have paid, whichever comes first. Then the regular prices apply. See the early-bird offer terms.
